Eric Zehntbauer is a Principal at Kern & Thompson, LLC and provides audit services. His experience includes extensive responsibility for the management of audit, review, tax and advisory service engagements for closely-held companies, not-for-profit organizations, municipalities, benefit plans, and individuals. Eric also has considerable experience with audits subject to the Single Audit requirements, and also holds a Municipal Auditor’s license.

Eric previously worked as the controller for a local real estate development company providing cost analysis, budget services, and handling all general accounting matters. Prior to beginning a career in accounting, Eric worked in the banking industry as a commercial credit analyst, providing analysis services on corporate and individual loan applications.

Eric received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon, and an MBA in Finance from Portland State University.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Eric stays active coaching youth sports, as his three daughters participate on multiple teams.
