Office Manager

Kim joined Kern & Thompson, LLC in May 2013 as an Administrative Professional working directly with and providing assistance to the Office Manager. In June 2014, she was promoted to Administrative Professional – Audit Services, and provided services in all administrative functions in the office, especially those related to the preparation of not-for-profit financial statements. In January 2020, she became the Office Manager. 

In the past, Kim has worked as the receptionist for a chiropractic office, a local health care transportation company and a local accounting firm. In 2005, Kim traveled to an orphanage in the Dominican Republic to teach English to first through eighth graders. In her free time, Kim enjoys restoring old furniture and practicing the art of calligraphy. Kim was formerly a member of the Portland Peace Choir, participating in various community events promoting peace and community through song.
